LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Little Rock Police have arrested 30-year-old Leonard Radcliff in connection to this homicide. He has now been charged with capital murder.
On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Little Rock police responded to a shooting on Colonel Glenn Road just after midnight.
Officers arrived and discovered 30-year-old Wayeland Battles, of Little Rock, lying near the front of the complex with a gunshot wound.
MEMS responded to the scene and transported Battles to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition, but later died due to his injuries.
Battles's body was sent to the Crime Lab for autopsy.
This investigation is ongoing.
